CASA of Northeast TN serves the juvenile courts of Greene, Unicoi, and Washington Counties and the City of Johnson City. CASA is appointed by the juvenile court judge to speak up for the best interest of the child. The advocate gives a voice to the child in the courtroom, and is a reliable trustworthy adult in the child’s life.
Our advocates are all volunteers who have received 35+ hours of initial training and maintain a minimum of 12 hours of continuing education with each year of service. These volunteers dedicate their time and heart to advocating for the child.
